Extracted from red algae (Kappaphycus albarezii) in Christmas island. Gives whitening effect due to inhibition on biosynthesis of tyrosinase. Exerts synergistic effect when used in combination with Vitamin C or Arbutin. Also gives anti-inflammatory effect.
