Obtained from the root of Ohsanyaku (Dioscorea panthaica Plain et Burkill), and contains dioscin, a kind of steroid saponin having anti- inflammatory effect. It is developed to be an excellent cosmetic ingredient, which has both anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory effect.
