Derivative of collagen extracted from the skin of yellow fin tuna fish (Thunnus albacares). The tropocollagen extract is submitted to an enzyme digestion which converts it to atelo-collagen, followed by a treatment of succinylation. Excellent material for cosmetic use because of higher compatibility compared to natural type collagen. Can be used in a wide range of pH.
AS grade contains 0.3% succinoyl atelocollagen.
